The calibrations of the measuring instruments allow you to determine the indication error in order to ensure accurate and reliable measurement results. The calibrations are carried out by comparing the indication of the instrument with the measurement of corresponding known values with the relative uncertainties.
The calibration of the instruments and samples by laboratories accredited according to the ISO / IEC 17025 standard consists in the comparison with a higher level reference standard and thus allows the measurements produced by them to acquire metrological traceability to national or international standards. Anthis offers ISO CALIBRATION REPORTS (REFERENCE TO NATIONAL SAMPLES) for pressure gauges with accuracy class 1.0% - 1.6% - 2.5% - 4.0% up to 800 bar. It also offers Periodic Verification (Mandatory Biennial) of Safety Valves as per API 598 -ISO 5208 up to 100 bar.
Differences between calibration reports and primary Accredia certificates
It is a document that can only be issued by an ACCREDIA accredited calibration center. An ACCREDIA certificate certifies that the instrument has been calibrated according to procedures recognized by primary institutes. Furthermore, the ACCREDIA certificates relieve from any obligation to demonstrate to third parties that the calibrations have been performed in accordance with the provisions of the reference standard (UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025).
It is a document that can be issued by calibration centers with which the traceability of the measurement to national standards is documented. As a rule, this document is required for checks on the instrumentation used for field measurements. The technical validity of these reports depends on the technique, competence and metrological procedures used by the laboratory.
